I saw a call for papers at the beginning of the school year and sent a submission on a whim. To my great surprise, my paper abstract was selected! This past weekend I had the privilege of presenting a paper at the Boston University School of Theology conference on Religious Diversity: Conflict, Cooperation and Creolization. The conference centered around student papers and I met some amazing, interesting people and learned about some awesome things, like Korean shamans and Black Catholic jazz musicians. I presented my work on #SayHerName, analyzing Jesus’ interactions with invisible women.
